Star Wars EU Fans!

I'm looking for some fans of the Star Wars Expanded Universe!

Specificially, fans of the New Jedi Order.

Why?

Well, the folks over at NJOE.com have created a special Fan Awards for the NJO series. It's very cool, and I'm hoping people check it out.

All you have to do is head on over to www.njoe.com and click on the banner that announces the awards.

Give it a look!

Back to normal

Well, after nearly two weeks, my life is returning to normal. See, back a couple of fridays ago, I worked all day on 24AU. Kicked ass, was able to post the new episode, etc. As a reward, I took a break from it that night and watched a movie (Boogie Nights, if you must know). During the movie, I decided that I would do a few sit-ups.

Big fuckin mistake.

See, I didn't quite realize that not having done a sit-up in nearly a decade would affect me. I only did three sit-ups. I was fine Friday night. I was fine Saturday morning at home. I drove to work Saturday morning...

OWWWWWW!

Suddenly, my back felt like I had been attacked. It hurt like hell! Spent most of Saturday night and Sunday icing my back and trying not to move in a way that would hurt it. I started to get better, and by Thursday (a week ago), I was feeling good.

Then Friday came.

I went to Comerica Park with my mom and a few other people to catch a Tigers game. Sat down in the uncomfortable hard seats.

Suddenly, my back hurt WORSE than it had that previous Saturday. I spent most of the game walking around the stadium because I couldn't sit in those damn seats. Hurt immensely. Spent Satruday at work icing my back.

Saturday was a whole other day. After work, everything went to shit. I can't really talk about all of it, but let's just say that everything I tried to do turned sour. Fortunately, my mom gave me a vicodin that night, and it relaxed me and my back.

That was Saturday night. Now, Thursday, I am pretty much back to normal again. I'm hoping to get back to work on 24AU tonight after work, and I'm hoping that life goes back to normal for me. As long as I don't aggravate my back again...

Episode 6 is posted now!

(24AUN) Status 9/16

Took today out to work on 24AU as much as I can. If I work at the pace I'm hoping to, I should be able to post episode 6 some time this weekend.

(24AUN) Status 9/11

Okay, here's the situation right now:

Last week, when I started episode 9, I hit a major problem about 5 minutes in. Basically, I had a couple of characters in completely the wrong place. Well, tonight, I sat down and re-wrote it, correcting these problems. It just puts me behind schedule for a little while. Not too big a problem. I get the feeling that the next couple of episodes are going to be like that; I changed so much of the story since the last time I outlined them that I'm doing my best to make it all fit.

Oh, and one last note; the one year anniversary of this blog is coming up! Jeez...it's been a whole year already. Where the hell'd the time go?

(24AUN) Get a load of this.

Just finished putting together a book of the first 8 episodes of the series. Now, the book isn't finished; I've got a few things still to add, including episode 9, but here's what it looks like so far.
